Closing a home follows a careful process with safety checks to prevent accidental deletion. All data and access are properly removed.

Decommissioning a home follows a controlled workflow with a retention hold period before final deletion. All credentials, invites, and notification routes are revoked. Typed confirmation and step-up authentication are required — no accidental deletions.
